Our Why

This work is deeply meaningful to our team. We have witnessed the challenges and barriers that individuals and families often face in accessing care, and we are committed to being dedicated advocates throughout the evaluation process. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful space where every experience is honored and every story is heard with dignity.

To ensure clear and authentic communication, our clinicians provide services in both Spanish and English, and we collaborate with professional interpreters for other languages as needed. It is our privilege to support you with compassionate, comprehensive evaluations that ensure your voice is heard.

Our Assessment Services:

A psychological assessment is a process of understanding. It uses a combination of interviews, observation, and standardized testing to gain a clear and comprehensive picture of an individual's strengths, challenges, and unique way of functioning. This clarity is the first step toward getting the proper support, treatment, or accommodations.

Immigration Assessment

This specialized evaluation is designed to document the psychological and emotional factors that may be relevant to your immigration case. We conduct thorough assessments for cases involving extreme hardship waivers, asylum, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and U/T Visas. The goal is to provide a comprehensive, objective report that clearly communicates your personal history and psychological functioning as it relates to your legal proceedings.

In addition, we provide N-648, Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions evaluations. This is for individuals applying for U.S. citizenship who, due to a documented physical, developmental, or mental disability, are unable to learn or demonstrate knowledge of the English and civics requirements for naturalization.

Autism Assessment

This comprehensive assessment honors each individual’s unique social communication style, interaction patterns, sensory experiences, and behavioral characteristics. Whether for a child, an adolescent, or an adult, our goal is to understand whether an individual’s profile aligns with characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We recognize that no single tool can determine an autism diagnosis, so we use a personalized approach with access to high-quality, standardized assessments to ensure all factors are thoughtfully considered. The evaluation provides diagnostic clarity, highlights personal strengths, and offers guidance for meaningful support and deeper self-understanding.

ADHD Assessment

This evaluation focuses on identifying the presence and impact of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We assess challenges related to attention, focus, organization, impulsivity, and hyperactivity across settings such as school, work, and home. A clear diagnosis can help you or your child access effective strategies, treatments, and accommodations to manage symptoms better and thrive.

Intellectual & Adaptive Functioning Assessment

This comprehensive assessment is designed to honor each individual’s unique cognitive strengths, adaptive skills, and daily functioning. Whether for a child, adolescent, or adult, the goal is to understand how a person’s abilities and experiences relate to intellectual and adaptive differences.

As part of the evaluation, we select the most appropriate IQ test for each person—choosing nonverbal measures or assessments in English or Spanish as needed. This approach ensures an accurate understanding of reasoning, problem-solving, and practical life skills, while thoughtfully considering language, culture, and communication needs.

The assessment provides clarity, highlights personal strengths, and offers practical guidance for meaningful support, educational planning, and self-understanding. Through this process, individuals and families can access resources and accommodations that enhance daily living and support long-term growth.

Learning Differences

This assessment honors each individual’s unique learning style and academic experiences. Whether for a child, adolescent, or adult, our goal is to determine if challenges in reading, writing, or math align with characteristics of a specific learning difference, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia.

Through high-quality, standardized academic evaluations, we identify areas of difficulty and highlight personal strengths. The results provide diagnostic clarity and offer guidance for meaningful support, academic accommodations, and strategies to help individuals reach their full educational potential.
