About US
Rooted Psychological Services was founded by Dr. Ramirez, a licensed psychologist whose professional journey began in health psychology, working closely with medical providers. Through her early experiences, Dr. Ramirez witnessed the urgent need for comprehensive psychological evaluations—and the significant barriers that families often faced, such as long waitlists and limited access to care. These insights became the foundation of her practice: to provide timely, compassionate, and individualized assessments that truly make a difference.

Meet The Team
Dr. Sylvia Ramirez
Dr. Ramirez is a Licensed Psychologist in Oregon and an Oregon Board of Psychology approved supervisor. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University in 2020, with specialized training in Health Psychology through practicums, internship, and residency in health settings.
Throughout her training, Dr. Ramirez developed a passion for working across the lifespan, with a particular interest in children.
Following her residency, she joined a group practice where she began focusing on psychological assessments and received extensive training in this area. Her recent professional development has centered on neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism, and she is dedicated to deepening her understanding of autism and its diverse presentations.
Dr. Ramirez is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and is enthusiastic about supporting individuals and families through thoughtful evaluation and diagnosis.
Dr. Paige Vazquez
Dr. Paige Vazquez is a Licensed Psychologist in Oregon. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in 2023, with an emphasis in Latinx psychology. Dr. Vazquez is knowledgeable in a wide array of psychological and cognitive assessments and diagnostics, and she conducts evaluations for state- and county-contracted services at Rooted Psychological Services.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Vazquez serves as a mentor and consultant for Rooted Psychological Services, supporting the growth and development of the clinical team. She often collaborates with Dr. Ramirez in a team-based approach to evaluations, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive, individualized care.
Her areas of passion include aging, cognitive concerns, and addiction. Dr. Vazquez is also a researcher at Problem Gambling Solutions, Inc., where she works with state agencies to evaluate programs, provide consultation, and conduct research related to problem gambling.
Dr. Tenzin Namdol
Psychologist Resident Supervised by Dr. Ramirez
Dr. Tenzin Namdol earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University and is currently completing her Psy.D. with specialized training in neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan. Her approach to assessment is grounded in cultural humility, clinical precision, and a commitment to equitable access to care.
Dr. Namdol brings experience conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess cognitive functioning, neurodevelopmental differences, traumatic brain injury, and the impact of complex trauma on cognition and behavior.
She has a particular interest in working with chronically underserved populations, including Indigenous communities and other historically marginalized groups, with a focus on reducing systemic barriers to neuropsychological services.
As a first-generation Tibetan American, Dr. Namdol brings a deep appreciation for the intersection of culture, language, identity, and cognitive health.
Her goal is to provide affirming, strengths-based assessments that not only inform diagnosis and treatment but also empower individuals and their families with meaningful insight and support. Dr. Namdol strives to ensure that every evaluation honors the client's lived experience and offers practical, culturally attuned recommendations that can guide healing, learning, and growth.
